  1. Wow! I am honored by and grateful for your Paperback Warrior podcast about the Men's Adventure Library series I co-edit with Wyatt Doyle. Naturally, I was happy to hear you praise our books. (Thanks a million for that!) But I also especially loved the fact that your introductory comments and reviews were right on target in terms of helping listeners understand the context of the men's adventure magazine genre and its connections to vintage paperbacks — and right on target in terms of the focus and content of the different story anthologies and art books we've published so far. Your research and insights are always impressive. And, in addition to being informative, your written reviews and podcasts are fun and entertaining. That's why I have been a huge Paperback Warrior fan since you first launched your site. By the way, the next book Wyatt and I will be releasing features the work of an artist who is a major figure in both the men's action/adventure paperback realm and men's adventure magazines — Gil Cohen. This one will showcase original cover paintings Gil did for the Executioner/Mack Bolan paperbacks. A future book will feature his MAM artwork. At some point, I look forward to talking with you more about the many interconnections between paperbacks and MAMs. Maybe we could do it on your next trip Key West. The Margaritas will be on me. Cheers, guys! And, thanks again.
