I'm curious about something mentioned during the discussion of Johnstone's right-wing fiction. What are some of the left-wing men's adventure series talked about? (Full disclosure—I'm left-wing, although I try not to be stupid about it, and I love the Death Merchant, for example). Theysound amusing. Thanks and keep up the great work!John M. I’m thankful for him. Yeah, Edgar Rice Burroughs should be a priority. The funny thing is that I’ve never read him. Shame on me. I believe Tom has though. It was all over for me when the Hardy Boys caught my eye. Then Edgar Rice Burroughs showed up a few years later. Any thoughts of an episode on his books ? Can’t wait for the next podcast.VINTPBFANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14590237446142499910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5477956438422079368.post-75605771600914221652021-06-28T14:38:08.052-04:002021-06-28T14:38:08.052-04:00I loved this episode as I began reading Johnstone ...I loved this episode as I began reading Johnstone a year or so ago (because I end up shopping at my closest store...WalMart). Amazon has the three Ransom (wolf man) novels on ebook; Wolfsbane, Hunted, and Prey (you mentioned only hearing about a third novel that made this a trilogy). And finally, I am in total agreement regarding the Rig Warrior books (or whatever they are called). I loved the premise, but the one I read (the latest) was so full of racist stereotypes, I was shocked that it was written in the 2020's.
