Johnstone" who claims to be WWJ's "nephew" who is applying everything they learned from their dear old uncle William. And yet, I've seen other places where J.A. Johnstone is WWJ's "niece", with the exact same description. Well, which is it? Is J.A. Johnstone a man or a woman? Do they even exist? My name at the time was Carla Levene and he can now find me by Carla Morton. If you can get this message to him, it would be much appreciated. I'd love to connect with him. I also can't suggest enough the Graphic Audio Doomsday warrior series, fantastic full cast, dramatized, sound effects, etc. I read all 19 books, and did the audio books, and in the audio books the biggest change was streamlining book 1, after that, it's hard to find differences in the book vs audio, couple little things through the rest of the series.I can't delete thishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05020250113774011216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5477956438422079368.post-59076368142261937162023-12-20T06:47:34.278-05:002023-12-20T06:47:34.278-05:00If this is half as well written as White's Ope...If this is half as well written as White's Operation Murder, it is worth reading. He wrote in his spare time in high school and medical school, making his first sale, _Darkness Weaves with Many Shade_, while suspended from medical school for his "attitude" (refused to visit painful and unnecessary procedures on patients just for practice), despite having a 4.0 average. He died way too young, from Writer's Disease, but left a great literary legacy, work that makes it plain that there would have been greater stories had he lived. It was also in descriptive terms--especially some of the interior mood of the characters descriptions---a bit overwritten---I think I could have edited 10 percent or so out. But he did a great job working out the various ways the living robbers dealt with the aftermath both financial and emotional and the final showdown scene between killer and would be victim was delightfully tense.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00762531666318117072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5477956438422079368.post-76209828935907513002023-12-04T17:14:06.084-05:002023-12-04T17:14:06.084-05:00Thanks for providing the link for this one. But while II don't mind extremely graphic violence, I'm not willing to pick up a book using it as the main selling point. I've read a couple of Bryan novels and didn't enjoy them.
